We are in Dallas at the Great Wolf Lodge, the whole family. Kollen flew in Wednesday and it has been a very busy trip so far. We took the kids to M&Ps on Friday and had a Easter dinner there. Laurie, Blake, the kids, and Sara was all there. The kids hunted Easter eggs in the yard and painted some at the table.
We packed up and left Saturday morning to come to this wonderful vacation lodge, I highly recommend it for all families with children, it is a blast. Erin and Terrance (brother n sister in-law) joined us yesterday for a day of fun at the indoor water park. It is Gage's first experience with water outside of the bath tub that is and I must say he digs it. I thought maybe the noise or splashing would bother him but to my surprise he took it in stride. In the middle of the day a nice gentlemen came to us and gave us his rented cabana for the rest of the day. He said he wanted to give it to people with a baby. It was so nice, a perfect white tent with a table, chairs, safe, refrigerator(he even left us drinks in it), and a flat screen tv, all of which was located right inside the water park. It was our own little escape from people and noise, amazing way to spend the day. A thank you just was not enough because he took our water park experience to a whole new level, so THANK you kind man/family I hope your trip home was great.
After the water park the boys continued 0n there virtual game through the hotel (magiquest) until about 10pm when we called it a night. It is about 7am right now and the boys are about to get up because I heard through the great vine there is a Easter Egg Hunt in the water park at 8am, OH boy.
We will be here another day and then Kollen flies out on Monday morning and we head back home to get on a schedule again. I will have more pictures of the trip but for now enjoy these Easter egg hunting, painting and eating pics.
